International Flights to Dar es Salaam

Major international airlines serving Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR) include Ethiopian Airlines, Kenya Airways, Emirates, Qatar Airways, KLM, and British Airways. Dar es Salaam is the main gateway for onward connections into Nyerere National Park.

Connecting Flights into the Park

Scheduled light aircraft services operate from Dar es Salaam to airstrips within the Selous / Nyerere ecosystem. Charter flights can be arranged directly to the Beho Beho private airstrip. While we do not book flights on your behalf, we are happy to point you towards trusted operators — please enquire when making your reservation. All guests are met at the airstrip and transferred to camp by our team.

Seasons

Beho Beho is open from 1 June to 14 March each year. The camp closes from 14 March to 1 June due to the long rains, when roads become impassable and airstrips are closed.

The dry season (June to October) offers the best general game viewing as animals concentrate around permanent water sources. November to March is the green season — lush landscapes, excellent birding, and fewer guests.
